Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets are a professional basketball team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. They are part of the Southeast Division in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team was originally established as the Charlotte Hornets in 1988, but relocated to New Orleans in 2002. In 2004, an expansion team named the Charlotte Bobcats was established, and in 2014, the Bobcats were renamed the Charlotte Hornets after reclaiming the name and history of the original franchise.
