SHISHAMO

SHISHAMO is a Japanese pop-rock band formed in 2010. The name SHISHAMO is derived from the word for “mullet” in the dialect of the band’s home region, which reflects their playful and distinct style. The group is known for its catchy melodies, relatable lyrics, and energetic performances. The band originally consists of four members: vocalist and guitarist Aya, guitarist and backing vocalist Akari, bassist Momo, and drummer and backing vocalist Kaki. They gained popularity through their unique sound that blends various genres, including rock, pop, and indie influences.
